Compensation

Fixed project fee of $2,800 to $3,500, depending on experience and final agreed scope.
Role Overview
-
The Event Fashion Show Manager will lead the planning and execution of the RexyWear Dog Fashion Show. This role is responsible for turning the event into a polished, organized, and visually engaging runway production.

This position combines event planning, fashion show coordination, styling direction, music planning, MC coordination, dog-owner coordination, rehearsal planning, backstage flow, and day-of show execution.

The ideal person is creative, highly organized, calm under pressure, comfortable working with dogs and people, and able to manage both the artistic and practical sides of a live show.
Key Responsibilities

Develop the creative direction and structure for the 30-minute dog fashion show.

Create the runway flow, including intro, dog-by-dog runway moments, transitions, brand moments, and grand finale.

Work with RexyWear to define which products, colors, sets, and looks will be showcased.

Create dog role profiles based on product, size, personality, styling theme, temperament, and stage suitability.

Help match selected dogs to the right product looks and runway roles.

Plan outfit styling for each dog, using clothing and accessories as decorative elements while keeping RexyWear products as the focus.

Select or guide music choices for each dog based on outfit, personality, and show flow.

Work with the MC to develop the show flow, talking points, transitions, dog introductions, product mentions, and timing.

Coordinate stage screen content requirements, including dog names, product names, QR codes, and screen cues.

Create and manage the show run sheet, including dog order, timing, music cues, MC cues, screen cues, and backstage flow.

Plan and lead rehearsals.

Support dog safety screening, including comfort with crowds, music, other dogs, handling, and the stage environment.

Create a backup dog plan by size, temperament, product fit, and availability.

Coordinate with dog owners, RexyWear, and the internal project team to ensure everyone understands their role.

Oversee backstage preparation and show execution on all three event days.

Prepare contingency plans for late arrivals, nervous dogs, missing items, product changes, cue issues, and backup substitutions.

The Event Fashion Show Manager is responsible for delivering a polished, organized, and repeatable 30-minute RexyWear Dog Fashion Show across all three event days.

The show should feel premium, structured, entertaining, and aligned with RexyWear’s position as a design-led premium dog gear brand.

Reporting Structure

Reports to Bassel Zoueiter, Founder and Owner of RexyWear.

Works closely with the Social Media and Campaign Manager, Event Photographer and Videographer, MC, operations support, dog owners, and National Women’s Show contacts when required.

Final approval on brand direction, product choices, dog roster, show structure, and public-facing messaging remains with RexyWear.
Required Background and Experience
-
Experience in event planning, fashion show coordination, runway production, brand activations, experiential marketing, or live event production.
-
Strong understanding of styling, visual presentation, stage flow, and audience experience.

Strong planning, communication, organization, and coordination skills.
-
Ability to manage deadlines, people, moving parts, and last-minute changes.

Comfort working with dogs and dog owners in a live event setting.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of a project.

Availability for planning meetings, fittings, rehearsals, and all three event days.
Recommended Experience
-
Background in fashion, styling, lifestyle events, pet events, stage production, or premium brand activations.

Experience coordinating models, performers, handlers, participants, or event talent.

Experience working with run sheets, music cues, scripts, backstage flow, or show production.

Experience using Canva, Google Sheets, project management tools, or similar platforms.
